I have a friend who snogs girls alot when she is drunk. It may seem like simple fun but it gets to the point where it is no longer a dance but she wants to kiss. It isn't for attention or for the boys because sometimes there are no men there. It is a regular occurance. Is this normal?

She may be bi, or bi-curious. The fact she does it when there are no guys around suggests as much. A lot of straight girls will do it when guys are there, because they know it drives us wild!
But where in the world did you Brits come up with the word "snog?" Here in the U.S.A., it sounds strange. This is not a criticism, I'm just curious where the term originated.

I know someone who does that to - she puts pics up of her kissing other girls on facebook and myspace too. I think it is for attention - she just wants attention from everyone, all the time. She has to have it... if it's all girls there - well, she'll just have to get attention from the girls then. She may be a lesbian, who is trying to gauge reactions from seeing what you do when you're drunk.
I know loads of girls who have kissed other girls when drunk, like once or twice - experimentation and all that - but not in the way that you describe... that isn't normal, no.

It is 100% normal...
Women are such emotional creatures that we can "love" anyone and any thing and our "Sexuality" is not "hardwired" like a man's tends to be.
Since we equate "Love" and emotions with sex, unlike most men, almost all females are at least a little bit "Bi-sexual".
We just don't see the seperation between emotional love and physical love as distinclty as men do.
EVERY SINGLE HUMAN will have a same sex thought or fanticy at one time or another and there is nothing to be ashamed about or condemned for it... It is just nature and it happens...
Though there are those out there that, as you say, just do it for the attention...
I recomend just letting her do what makes her happy... It is her life!

She is probably bi sexual and it is her way of letting go because the alcohol lowers inhibitions. I did it when I was younger and now that I am in my mid twenties I know that I am bisexual. It is more common for women to be bisexual than men also so its not all women but I wouldn't say that it is uncommon either.

I've seen a lot of people who show their true side when they get drunk. It sounds like she's doing the same thing. You may want to talk to her about it or pay attention to her when she's not "drunk" . Does she have a boyfriend? How does she act around guys? ultimately you may have to talk to her about it.

I don't do that - but then again I haven't been drunk in quite some time now....
I think I did that once - only because a bunch of guys were daring my friend and I to kiss, we were drunk, we kissed but that was the end of it.

Do not read to much into it. Women are more foreword with their emotions and alcohol lowers their inhibitions to show emotion. It is a natural part of life and if you are ok with your actions then do not feel that you are doing something wrong. You must think how you feel when you are straight and ask yourself is this something I want to pursue or not?

well, most girls want to experience being with another girl, just to see if they like it. it's just that their consious mind won't allow them. it seems you're friend had wanted to do that, and the alcohol has affected the way he concience worked. so, because of the alcohol, she was able to fullfill her fantasies. another possibility is that she uses the alcohol as an excuse, maybe she's not drunk at all

Not sure what snog means, but yes alcohol seems to open a girl's mind to things they may not try otherwise.

Maybe she is bi or bi-curious and the only way she feels confident enough to go through with her desires is when she is intoxicated.
