Sometimes, but just because they do it doesn't mean you should go out and try to do it just to justify a purpose.
Basically, two wrongs don't make a right. I really don't care what they do and what they get away with because karma is a valuable player in this game called life, so what goes around comes around continuously.
I live a pretty good life and I've been completely fair without breaking the rules.

break the rules, or more like play by the rules? there are 'rules' of society, not legal rules, that the folks who get ahead know how to follow. breaking the rules might just go along with that; one thins if for sure, if you are rich and powerful (meaning, you've already played by the rules and made it) then people are much less likely to care if you 'break the rules.'

it is very unfortunate, but if you're rich and powerful enough then the rules don't apply to you the same way they do to everyone else. it's not about breaking the rules, it's about being influencial enough to go around the rules.

That seems to be the case. Good people struggle while the law breakers prosper. Go figure!

there's a proverb that goes something like this: the best man doesn't need laws. basically this means that the right and responsible man doesn't need laws to tell him right from wrong and to tell him how to get on top. only fools need laws to tell them right from wrong, now, i'm not sure how, but i feel that this somehow pertains to your question, it definitley gives you something to think about though, huh? hope i hleped
