I'm not really sure if people still think of the common flu as a "dangerous" disease. I never really thought of it as serious. I know it has caused many deaths in the past but is it really considered dangerous nowadays?

Yes it is still considered very dangerous especially in the elderly or people with compromised immune systems. They can die very easily.

It's very dangerous, but there is a simple solution: good sanitation.

1. Practice good hygiene, including washing your hands often.

2. Stay away from sick people.

3. If you're sick, stay away from other people, so you don't infect them.

4. Oh, and stay away from doctors. They will give you medications that will make you feel better, without curing the disease. Then you will go out and infect other people.

Yes, it can be, especially to babies & elderly. It took my healthy father in 24 hours, out of the blue.
