my dads works at The Great American Bagel and they make dog bones too by hardening flavored [apple,banana,carrot] bones. A breeder comes weekly there to buy a couple dozen bones. He has 24 dogs. Thats crazy who would spend over 200 bucks for bones weekly?

I would if I had 24 dogs and they didn't fight over the bones. I have two dogs and they love bones. But if anything will make them fight, bones will. So they get split deer antlers to chew instead.

Wow, yeah, my dogs have bones all the time, but, I just buy them from the grocery store or butcher for much less then that.. I could see buying a special one as an extra treat now and then, but not every week.. Geesch! I'd love to have that much cash to throw around.. Sadly enough, I'd probably do that too if I had the money.. Okay, no I wouldn't, I'd rather donate it somewhere..

A person who cares about his dogs. Obviously he wants them to have something to do and bones clean the teeth which prevents tooth decay, gum disease, and internal problems as well (too much bacteria in the mouth can ruin the entire digestive system and cause renal issues).
Why does it bother you what he spends on his dogs? They're apparently loved and cared for. What else matters?

Yeah, people are pretty stupid with their money.
It's even crazier (and quite cruel) that people actually breed dogs in this day and age, given that there are 1000's in shelters nationwide that need good homes.
