I don't know of anyone who enjoyed being dead. Which is what you would be without a nervous system.

I don't think so, you would have no brain.
Which means you would have no conscious, no heart-beat and nothing to tell your respiratory system how to function.

So basically, you'd not only be stupid, but dead.
