hi can anyone help me over rights of seeing my 19 month old niece she has got an unfit mother my brother is doing all he can i want to know my rights as she has said i am no longer allowelled t see her no stupid remarks please this is not a joke.

Hi Cool Lady this is a tricky one firstly is your brother married or living with her if not then he would have to try and get the Courts to appoint him legal guardian. Then you would be able to see her through your brother. He needs to contact a Solicitor to at least get visiting rights, again it all depends on the relationship he has with the childs mother and if he is on the birth certificate. Hope this helps.... x

You have no rights, just as if you were a stranger or neighbor.

In most states, not even the grandparents have rights.
