In Genesis before Adam and Eve took the fruit, being naked wasn't a sin. They weren't conscious of their nakedness or perhaps they just didn't care. After they ate from tree of knowledge, they became ashamed of their nakedness. God questioned their shame "How do you know that you are naked?"
So why is it wrong to be ashamed of your naked body? If a person feels no shame, while being naked and is comfortable in their own skin aren't like Adam and Eve before eating the fruit?

Althoug a huge person isn't pleasing to the eye, and can admire one for not being ashamed of their body. Lots of skinny people are ashamed of theirs, so any big girl or guy who likes to flaunt it power to them. In moderation though please.

The episode illustrates self awareness or ego. After the fall man from his pride took on the nature of ego or self, and identity apart from God, and became ashamed of the first act and manifestation of that ego, sexuality. Thinjk of young kids or babies. They have not developed a sense of self yet and have no shame. Only when they gain a self identity do they feel shame and modesty.

Being naked is not a sin.
The word "ashamed" does not mean sin, it means the awareness of nakedness.
Just like babies, they do not realize their "nakedness" until they grew a little older and wiser.
It is difficult to get back to the "innocence" before the fruit is taken. Just as we growing up, once we learn the sexual implication, and the awareness of nakedness, we cannot go back to be innocence.

I think it is good not to be ashamed of your body.
I prefer you keep your clothes on around me and my family.
Anyone who likes the outside world to see them naked is an exhibitionist in my opinion.

It's not wrong to feel ashamed of your naked body, i've never felt ashamed about being naked. I think God was just trying to be cruel & mocking.

Personally, I don't feel shame naked, but it's just inappropriate. I don't know who nessicarily set that standard, but it's become an unsaid thing that you must be clothed.
However, I'd still choose to dress.. I don't wanna freeze! Ha, it's 30 where I am.

As a theist, I'm not ashamed of my body, but I'm bloody cold ****all the time***.
I'm only nekkid when I'm under 2inches of blankets.
But, um, my gods don't teach me the body is shameful.
