Where can I volunteer with blind children in NYC?

I have experience working with blind children and I am interested in volunteering somplace on the weekends. I have contacted Light House International which is near me several times and I still have not heard from them, I'm looking for somplace in either Queens, Brooklyn, or Manhattan... If you know of something please let me know :-)

Try contacting the United Way, www.unitedwaynyc.org/?id=65. This is the United Way database for New York. You can search the database for the type of program you're looking for by catagory or agency name.
