I will be using it tonight, for the first time. I was just wondering! It says that it is non-irritating. Has anyone ever had a problem, with the product stinging their dogs ears, when put in? What kind of results, did you get with your dogs ears, when you used it, and do you recommend it?

Epi Otic is a good products, we ocassionaly will dispense that product at the vet I work for. It can be irriatating if the dogs has a serious infection in the ears. Otherwise it should not.

I prefer to use Oti-Calm by DVM Pharmaceuticals

"Non-irritating" means in normal ears it will not cause irritation. It does have some alcohol in it so if your dog has ulcerations in his ears (from an infection) it may sting a little until the infection begins to heal.
Epi-Otic can be a little too drying for dogs with sensitive ears if used often, but a a general cleaner (used weekly) most dogs do fine.
It does have some mild antibacterial properties, so it is helpful in preventing some infections in those dogs who are prone to them.

I used it for years on my dog...she hated having anything put in her ears, but it worked well. She never seemed to be in pain, just irritated that there was something in her ear. Good Luck :)

confident its the only air purifier we use. I in no way squirt it into the ears although. i squirt some on relatively pulled cotton. and then sparkling the ears. It doesnt sting. dogs do no longer like it reason they do no longer purely like the moist feeling in there ears, im mean come on might you? It maximum easily delivers alleviation and that i distinctly propose it. Edit- As their web site says its no longer stressful Virbac is an outstanding business enterprise, i take advantage of many of their products. i take advantage of a few of their shampoos. and that they make my dogs thyroid drugs. and of direction the ear answer.

i've used it in the past - other than the fact that the dog hated to have anything poured into her ears and squished around, i'd say it seemed to do the job (it was vet recommended).

It really stings my dog s ears....she goes crazy.....but I tried when she already had an infection. I wish there was something that would take the pain of the infection AWAY instead of HURTING her.
