Should a verse with this number have been included in the Bible?

It's fine.........it's simply a reference point in Scripture.
The chapter & verse numbers weren't put in until much later

Well, the numbering system in the Bible is not "inspired," but is merely a way to make finding a specific passage easier.
That said, it is interesting that this verse comes at the end of the passage where Christ lays out the Eucharist, and what it REALLY is. These disciples were the ones which rejected his "hard saying" that He IS the bread come down from heaven, and that we are required to take and eat (and the original word means "chew, gnaw on real food).

Revaltion was a dream and is mostly symbolic. I doubt 666 is an actual number. Many ppl beleive that it could be 999, since numbers often appear backwards or upside down in dreams.
There is also debate that this may refer to things in todays society life rfdi chips or finger prints or other scientific means we have of identification and money usuage.
They would not have used these words or technology in the Bible bc it didnt exist at that time.
So, generally believed, its not saying literally ppl will walk around with the numbers 666.
Therefore, it means nothing that there is a John6:66. They are just numbers

Not all things that have a 666 combination is related to the antichrist. For example, my checkbook has a check number 666 after the check 665. The zip code of Juncos PR is 00666, but that does not mean the antichrist will be born or live at Juncos PR.

The 666 person was actually Nero, after translating his name to the Arabic number equivalent.
