The aircraft that can be easily built at home is the microlight aircraft (aka microlite, ultralight, ultralite). It generally have hang glider-like wings, single/double seater and a small engine.

There are a lot of resources online that can help you design and build a microlite aircraft.

Apart from designing and building, you will need to get your microlite FAA approved. You will also need a certification in order to fly them legally. Check with you local authority.

Contact the Experimental Aircraft Association and learn the rules for building and flying your own aircraft. You can buy almost complete planes in kit form and then every combination of prebuilt parts and plans down to pure plans.

If you were studying aviation engineering, they would teach you how to design aircraft. So you are either a VERY poor student who does not pay attention or you are a troll.

I would guess you are the latter.

How about an rc controlled plane to begin with? You can simply take it out of the box, add four batteries and turn a switch. They sell for as little as $19.99 these days.
