When Jews iterate that they "are God's chosen people", do you think this is religious racism?

In fairness, I think all religions have this "I'm chosen" complex.

We don't say this. Get your facts straight.

The tale goes that the covenant with G-d was offered to ALL the nations, but that only the Jews accepted it unconditionally. Thus we are, if anything, the 'choosing' people. Big difference.

As for your spurious and foolish accusation of 'religious racism' - unlike Christians and Muslims, Jews believe that EVERYONE has a place in heaven, no matter what their religion, if they are moral while here on earth.

The only racism going on here is from you; shame on you. Next time you want to bash my religion, at least get your basic facts right.

Being Jewish, I can tell you for a fact that the concept of "chosenness" does not imply any sense of superiority.
After all, Judaism is the ONLY religion which teaches that ALL moral people merit heaven, regardless of their religious beliefs, afiliations, or lack thereof.
Choseness does imply a special uniqueness.
Historically, it goes back to Abraham. Abraham lived in a world steeped in idolatry, which he concluded was contradicted by the reality of design in nature.
So Abraham came to a belief in God, and took upon himself the mission of teaching others of the monotheistic ideal. Abraham was even willing to suffer persecution for his beliefs. After years of enormous effort, dedication and a willingness to accept the responsibility to be God's representative in this world, God chose Abraham and his descendents to be the teachers of this monotheistic message.
In other words it is not so much that God chose the Jews; it is more accurate that the Jews (through Abraham) chose God.
-besides; Judaism is not a race, it is a way of life. Although we do not seek converts, we accept them with open arms. Thus; being Jewish has nothing to do with race....

All religons think they are the chosen one. Just like children with multiple siblings will assume that they are the favourite.
Who knows, maybe God just loves us all anyway no matter what we did or what we believed, like any love parent would.

No. They are God's chosen people. The bible clearly states that Isreal is the apple of His eye. He loves us all, but there is something extra special about Jews and Isreal.

Yes I would put this into the catalogue of religious racism and hatred zealousness and I will extend it to all the sub-liners who have adopted the same religion included the Islamics and Catholics if you get my drift.

The bible is filled with references to the chosen people. Jesus himself was not willing to share his gospel with the "dogs" that were not his people. I think it's safe to say that biblically speaking, Jewish people are chosen, and the rest of us are not.

The Jews are God's chosen race, and in the New Testament, those who choose to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior are adopted into that race.

According to the bible God deemed them as Chosen. So God is the racist, and condoned genocide.
