Tony Stewart, Denny Hamlin, and Kyle Busch are three of the best drivers in the sport. The problem is that they also have three of the biggest egos. I don't see any veteran leadership in that camp. Stewart is a proven champion and I like him, but he doesn't practice what he preaches. It's hard for a younger driver to respect that.

I agree that HMS drivers have big egos as well, but you don't have the volatile personalities that JGR has.

Joe and JD will need to hire a nanny. I predict Shrub and Denny will have a hard time coexisting in the same garage. This COULD be an opportunity for Smoke to show some leadership chops. Not sure he really has them though.
POTENTIALLY- all could make the Chase. Lots of talent, but like Treego says, it's not all about driver ability.

Three very talented drivers for sure. If the Toyota can prove it's worth(which remains to be seen), then JGR should do well. If not, look for fireworks as the frustrations mount thru out the season. Smoke and Hamlin already have a strained relationship. Add some Busch to the mix, and it should make for some interesting reading on Monday.

It is a decent lineup, however JGR is switching from GM to Toyota so the lineup may not matter simply because those drivers are going to be using new engines (I dont count the cars because just about ever car setup is the same). The only one out of this group that may stand a shot of winning any races next year is Tony.

I think it's great! I think Shrub (Busch) has a thing to prove and he won't go easy on his former teammates. I hope he rips on them and he is a fine driver that will only improve. Denny and Tony will be great too. I am worried about the car change but hey JGR knows what they are doing. I hope they have a good year. Tony is the best.

All drivers have a big ego. Tony Stewart is my favorite driver, and he's also a hot head with a very short fuse. But Joe Gibbs is a great coach, that applies to his nascar teams also. I believe JGR will give Toyota their first win as well as other wins in the cup series.

i was totally excited until they announced theyd be driving TOYota's. That was the last straw with me and nascar. If they stayed in Chevy's i think it would be a tough team to beat and could easily rival HMS. Now as far as personalities go, its trouble cause ive seen how Hamlin can get his panties in a bunch real quick, Kyle and Tony are kinda the same with bad tempers and taking that to the track. I think all 3 of these guys are great drivers, maybe Hamlin not so much yet or Kyle for that matter but man id hate to have to deal with their personalities. Smoke is my driver and one of the best but man id like to see him practice what he preaches.

This team will have the highest average for driver ability. Unfortunately for JGR fans, driver ability doesn't always insure good finishes or contention in the chase. Top to bottom they are incredibly talented but the use of Toyotas and their selfish tendencies will probably mean that they won't all make the chase next year.

I think they will be just fine. Its going to be interesting with the big egeos. All three of them have a attitude. Your exactly right about Tony not practicing what he preaches. I still like him though. JGR will do just fine. They will be the best Toyota camp out there.

Its going to be interesting, as you stated they a re three of the best and three with perhaps the largest egos next to HMS...that said, I think its gonna be something to watch and see how it shakes out. Tony is great problems and all you cant say hes not honest...Shrub can drive anything, dont really like him, but you cannot deny hes got what it takes...as to Hamlin, well lets wait and see

I think they have a great lineup. The biggest ego's tend to win the most. The leadership of those teams comes from the coach. Make no mistake he is the Alpha male in that pack.
