I am thinking of purchasing an 05 pontiac vibe and would like to know if they are good cars. If they have any flaws or what the good thing might be about them.

The Pontiac Vibe is a very well built vehicle. It is a twin to the Toyota Matrix.( Toyota and General Motors have been producing cars together for over 20 years).The Pontiac gets very good gas mileage. Having been in the automobile business for over 20 years. I would recommend this car .
Keep in mind that no matter what the make or model any car can have problems.I recommend if your looking at a used Vibe
to get a Car Fax report and any history on that car itself.Enjoy your new car.

The Vibe is the exact same car as the Toyota Matrix. They are good cars but the Pontiac is more expensive than the Toyota. Don't ask my why? If you want a better deal, look for a Toyota Matrix instead.

Check the Consumer Reports Used Car Guide. They get feedback from owners and list problem areas and you can compare which cars are the most reliable. While the Japanese cars are tops, the American and some European cars have made great advances in recent years.

Reviews are good one the Vibe. It's a joint venture with Toyota. (Matrix) Check www.edmunds.com used cars and get a model review. Lots of good info there.

take it to a mechanic before you buy it and have them do a check of the vehicle. it shouldnt cost much. the used car industry is usually a big gimmick. i lost 4000dollars on a used car because i didnt get it checked out before i bought it. if the seller wants to sell it. you can take it in. all cars that new should last awhile

I had 2 Vibes~ I loved them both! I had a dark grey & traded for a year newer orange one~ i since traded it in for a ford explorer (3 years ago) & i still miss my vibe!

no American made car is a good car! Buy a used Honda, Toyota or Nissan if you really want a GOOD car!

i wouldnt buy anything gm buy something japanese like a honda or toyota. they last a really long time and hold their value well
