I want to be able to style my weave like it's my hair. I don't want to part it and not be able to see scalp or not be able to put it in a high ponytail without lumps and bumps. I've never had a weave before but I've seen plenty of bad ones.
Thanks in advance.

GROW YOUR HAIR YOURSELF!!
Please take my advice on relaxed hair:
First of all, keeping your hair moisturized. This is as simple as wetting it in the shower, or wetting your hands and running them through your hair. DO NOT buy any moisturizer that has MINERAL OIL or PETROLATUM! care free curl gold and s-curl are popular moisturizers . you can get them at wal-mart. Do NOT use that Pink lotion!
2)use a wide tooth comb(as little as possible, maybe once a day) to avoid hairs breaking.
3)Wash your hair at once a week with shampoo. I wash mine with JUST conditioner sometimes too.
4)after shampooing, DEEP CONDITION by putting condish on your hair and putting a plastic cap over it and leaving it on for 15-30 minutes
5)massage your scalp daily
6)do not put any oils or "grease" on your scalp. Same goes with hair.
7)Try to relax your hair less. Every 8-10 weeks or longer!
8)You know your hair is breaking because if you look on the ends you will not see a white bulb. If you DO see a withe thing on the end, that is just shed hair. You shed 100 hairs a day, so it's all good. If it IS broken hair, do a protein treatment (use Organic Roots Stimulator mayonaisse or Aphogee 2 minute)
9)Try to put your hair up. Or protect your hair by leaving it in braids. DO NOT LEAVE BRAIDS IN TOO LONG or you will loose your hairline!
10)Do not limit your hair care products to the "ethnic" section of walmart. A lot of that stuff is crap *cough* Motions *cough* Creme of nature is really good though

It depends on how much money you want to spend. Since my hair stylist move we meet up every 5 months and she redo my hair i get the fusion weave so i want have to let anyone else do my hair. it moves like your on but it cost between $300 and $600 dollars. The lumps and bumps u are speaking of only come if u use hand weft weave.
It also depends do you want it sewen in or clued. Do you want a partial weave or full weave or full head weave. These usually cost between 150 and 300 dollars. If u need more info u can email me

i always get the crown weave, when you pull it back the bottom is darker but it looks cute, and if you dont like then you should get a whole head weave, make sure the stylist puts color or bleach, whichever you are doing up front because if they dont when you pull your hair back it will look like your roots are showing really badly....

oops thought you were talking about a color weave... sorry...

I don't understand, do you mean a color weave or extensions? If you mean a color weave then I can only suggest getting thin highlights, instead of chunky highlights. It looks more natural.
