I am getting this furniture set http://www.worldfurnituremall.net/Collection.aspx?CName=Silver+Radiance&CNum=B379
with this comforter

I have a light wood floor.
What color curtains do you think I should get?
Should I get plain, or designed?

I forgot to add that I just painted my walls blue. A bit darker than baby blue, but lighter than navy blue.

I must agree with CENT174 however sheer may feel too cold for your room decor.
Blue is cool and Brown is warm. Take a pick but I think brownish-grey solid curtians goes well with the chosen comforter. You have light wood floor, don't go anymore of blues than you already have. It will create more cooler in the room unless you want it be more colder. To add feminine, perhpas sew some clear sparkles to the edges or a darker hue of brown ribbon to add the depth.
***Few extra ideas:
Add dark brown lamp stand to balance the colors throughout the room
Add rich brown throw on a chair (to add depth)
Sea blue and tan candles in sizes (add warmth looks)
Congrats to your good taste, Have F-U-N!!!

How about the Milano Solid + Sheer Coordinates in the dark Chocolate color? It's on the Jcpenney web site. You could put a dark Chocolate color pillow on your bed too. Silver candle sticks with blue candles, silver picture frames. Lamp with shade in a brown or tan, maybe leather look with a silver base. See what you can do with the cool blues and the warm browns. Blues and silver goes well together. Golds go well with browns.

Either match them to the tan or blue color on the bed or go with a deep brown. A solid would look best. With all of that light wood on the furniture and floor, I would suggest, to offset it, you either use a blue like your spread or a deep chocolate brown......very pretty by the way!!

Suggest:
plain [ solid color ] drapes/curtains in white, aqua, or gold of the bedding
gold [ brass ] metals [ lamps? candlesticks? frames? ] in accessories - will warm up the room
other accessories in the white, aqua, or a little red of the bedding.
Brown doesn't match any of the colors; and the tan/beige will make it dull.

I would get plain sheer curtains in either the aqua color or gold color, or you can get a combination of that.
Here is a nice one in JcPenney:

I think that you should get plain dark brown curtains. They will bring the comforter & the furniture together well. I hope this helps! Good Luck :)

check with jc penney to see if they carry the drapery or window treatments that coordinate with your comforter set. if they do not then visit the website of the manufacturer of the comforter set and see if they made window treatments or drapery especially for that design. i would do gold if you can't find any that were made to coordinate with them.
