The US has 12 Carrier Battle Groups. At least 1 is ALWAYS in the Med, The Gulf and The Indian Ocean.
Each has more military might than the combined Forces of Iran.
They talk loudly because they have no stick. Just like N. Korea.
NATO to the east of me , NATO to the west...lets' talk crap and see if we can scare them away.......yeah right.
Sunni Islam out numbers Shiites. Most of them are in Annapolis planning the demise of The Islamic Republic of Iran.
Of course they will shoot off their big mouths.

There is a carrier group in the gulf supporting the forces in Afghanistan.
Its unlikely that it would be carrying enough munitions to launch a decisive strike on Iran, but could certainly defend itself.

US has base in Qatar and Damman (Saudi), there always stands one is a carrier battle group (it contain an Aircraft carrier, Two guided-missile cruisers, Two destroyers, One frigate, Two submarines and A supply ship).
