My boyfriend and I had a really bad week with fighting, (see my other question for details)

he said he'd come over tonight to get his stuff, but i think its too soon. He still has this, "hes right about ending things, we're totally done, no hope for the future" attitude and im determined to make this work I wrote him this really long heart felt letter, but what would you do? im not giving up hope yet, and after everything we've been thorough i can't honestly understand why he's acting the way that he is. When is a good time to sit down and talk to him, and what are some things i can/should do before I lose him for good...

I'm sorry to say this, but it sounds like you're through. It's only been 5 months. That's just the very beginning of a relationship! Everything is supposed to be pure bliss still...and you've already been in arguments that would've lead most people to break up?? Why are you still together if you're already trying that hard to make a brand new relationship work? If it's not working...it's not working and no matter how hard you try...things aren't going to get better. If this relationship were close to saving...you wouldn't have had to write him a note...you would've been able to talk to him in person. Move on. Good luck.

Sighs. It's quite sad, but you simply have to accept it: you and your boyfriend are done. Let him go. If you start acting all clingy and desperate to save the relationship, he will NOT respect you and his behavior most likely will get much worse. It is too late to change anything now. The time for talk is over. The only thing you can do now is set your sights on an even better boyfriend.

first off, do you love him? if you can't see being with him, married with children in the next 30 years, why bother? He may just be a barrier for you. You know? if you don't love him, or don't have very strong feelings for him, let it go. Give it up...let him go throw his temper tantrum
