healing process?

i got my tongue web pierced about a month ago and the area around the holes is raised.
is this normal?

Sounds infected to me, you had better see a doctor. Tongue piercing canbe dangerous.

call the piercing place. i have no clue.

but as a dental hygienist i do not recommend any oral piercings. they are detrimental to your teeth and are a portal of infection.
