Not unusual at all. Couples are tired and sometimes stressed out after all the wedding plans. You'll have a lifetime to "do it". Might as well wait a day (or longer!) till you can each enjoy it!

My wife and I waited till the next day.

I know one bride who says she was a zombie for a week after her wedding. Her husband kept joking about those "wild honeymoon nights" for weeks afterwards.

are you asking if it's unusual not to wait to have sex until your wedding night? Or if it's unusual not to have sex on your wedding night?

In both cases, it's not unusual. Especially not the first case. And I've heard of couples who have just been so exhausted from all the wedding preparation and then the actual wedding that they choose to just sleep rather than get it on at the end of the night.

If you are a couple who has had sex before you were marreid than no its not unusual. Alot of times you are so exhausted from the wedding etc...that you both know what it is and will eb after that so its not a big deal. Weddings can be exhausting. If you havent yet had sex before then I would think it a bit strange.

No it's not unusual. My husband and I didn't do it on our wedding night either. We were too tired from all of the partying at the wedding and the reception.

I don't think it's unusual BUT for those who are saying they will be too tired is not neccessarily true. I didn't get any sleep the three days leading up to my wedding but somehow we managed

Once I got the heavy dress that I had been wearing for 10 hours and the high heels off I took a hot bath and nearly fell asleep in the water. On the bed I hit the sheets and was instantly asleep. I don't think it's that uncommon, it's probably more common then you think.

Of course it is not unusual my beloved husband and I took our time and when it did happen it was very speical I felt secure and loved and safe and comfortable and content there is no rule you have to "do it" the first night we were virgins until marriage and just celebrated 14 years together.

No, I don't think it is unusual because I hear couples say that they didn't because of being tired and drunk. I told my fiancee that we will be so tired and drunk (lol) and get home and probably not even think of that because of being exhausted and overwhelmed from our big day that we won't get to it.

We didn't have sex on our wedding night. We partied way too late in the night, we were too exhausted.
