Say that you're a perfectionist and that makes you take things to seriously or overdo it sometimes.

The two I usualy say are
--- I am not always confortable with discipline. That is, although I will discipline someone working under me if I have to, it is difficult, and I have to think about it a longer time than most.
--- I am not always confortable as the interviewer, and I don't think that I have figured out the "magic questions" to ask that will tell me whether or not that person I am interviewing will be a strong employee.
The reason I choose there are that the person interviewing you most likely feels the same way. There are no "magic questions" and very few people look forward to disciplining others, even when it is needed. This avoids stupid sounding answers like "I am told I work too hard" or "I expect too much out of myself" - these will turn off an interviewer quickly. Feeling uncomfortable about interviewing is natural, because odds are that the person talking to you doesn't really know what to ask either, other than what he/she was told to ask. they are honest, but not fatal, answers.
PLEASE - don't tell the person you are "too organized" or "a perfectionist" - these sound insincere and will not help you.

I used to do a lot of job interviews and I also came across with that type of questions. I always answer them honestly like "I always get so stress out on the projects or I take my assignment too seriously" ... because I would have thought that the company is probably hearing a lot of the customized answers for that qustion ... so why don't we just be honest and let them know the truth.
But if you're looking for tips, I have the sources here below :) and Good Luck !!!

Tell them you have trouble with time management and your looking foward to taking the opportunity of correcting this weakness with the responsibility of employment.
So if you say that you have to follow through. I mean you will be fired regardless of you are consistently late.
Being honest at the interview is important and if you show them that you are willing and trying to overcome the things you fall short in they will want to hire you over someone who has lied about that question.
Good luck with the interview.

The best answers to this question are 'positive weaknesses' such as 1) Sometimes I'm a little too aggressive in my thinking or 2) Sometimes I tend to over-analyze things or 3) Sometimes I get a little crazy with checking and double checking results.
Positive weaknesses!

You could also say: a weakness that I have is that my desk tends to seem/get messy and unorganized but I know where everything is at!

Good luck on your interview. Your weakness is being a perfectionist, but you are also well adjusted and have always been able to balance. it's worked every time

I tell the truth: When the pressure is on, I tend to be sloppy and let filing pile up. Neatness is not one of my strong points.
In your case, however, I would not say being late, that could screw things up for you.

when they ask you stuff like that it's a trick question.
You're supposed to actually tell them something you're GOOD at or something GOOD about you that you would like to be BETTER at....or that you want to improve on.
Don't say like I'm lazy...or I'm late a lot.
You could say..I'm a good worker but I could work harder!!!
Or I am puntual but I could come in earlier!
