Your husband needs to see a neurologist--there may be something wrong. If you don't have insurance, ask at a local clinic that has a sliding scale.

I think your husband should consult his doctor - it could be anything, and I'm sorry that it's happening to him, but the doctor's the only person who could diagnose the problem.

Your husband could be suffering from anything such as a neurological disease, inner ear problems which are affecting his balance, high blood pressure problems causing him to feel dizzy, low blood pressure problems, problems with his vision causing him to misjudge distances .... you don't say if he's in any pain or if he's getting curvature of the spine - so, he might have osteoporosis which is affecting his center of gravity ..... and then there's the whole load of medical conditions about which I know nothing.
I hope he gets this sorted.

your husband needs to be evaluated by a neurologist.you may be describing the beginnings of parkinson's disease-called stepping gait. this is when someone starts slow,moves fast and the falters.othwerwise there are other neurological conditions that can be tested for with this kind of medical doctor.goodluck;)michele

He may be having nerve problems, he may be having small strokes...how is his memory?, also he could just be a clutz.
