Afterlife..
do u believe that when u die, that its possible to let ur loved ones know ur ok, or come back as somethin..
my friends grandpa died, he was 92 i think. but he was a little farmer that always carried blue string with him, all the time incase he ever needed it for somethin handy.
when he died, the mornin of his funeral, his daughter looked over on a little step beside her, and there was a piece of blue string blowing beside her!
that was nice, and i believe it i think.
also my friend committed suicide.. when he did this, on the night of his wake, i was walkin home from it, when i heard like geese in the sky, the sky was so black, and i could see 2 geese. didnt think anything of it, only that they were noisy.
until a few weeks later when i was walkin home from my work, and i passed his moms house, and as true as god in heaven, i heard geese, looked up and there were 2 geese flying over his house. i just cried!
what u think?

i think in times of trauma your brain tries to stimulate specific memories or tries to associate events with the being.
i really doubt the grandpa came back and put a string on the ground...
as far as the geese, thats just coincidence as well... did you ever notice geese flying over his house before? if not, were you not looking? or did you have no reason to pay any attention to it? have you never found string on the ground? if you havent, are you sure you just havent paid it any attention?

There is something which gives us comfort but I do not know what it is. If Christ came back from death can it not be possible sometimes for us in some way to let people know we are safe and happy.
About 18 months after my father died 30 years ago, i had to do a little job in the back yard of my Mothers house. The back yard and the warehouse was my Father's domain in that area what he said went. As I was doing the job (and making a bit of a mess of it) I and my wife felt he was there it was uncanny and a very strong feeling all the stronger because I was not particularly close to Dad. The job came right

i lost both my parents young. How i wish i could know fr sure, somehow, tth they are ok. They are in my dreams a lot but i don't remember wht they sd after i wake up. i miss them so much ...
On many days the simplest of coincidences make me cry. We are human and one cannot laugh at these things. The knowledge of all mankind put together is so little that we have only scratched the surface yet...
All eastern religions, which have existed for far longer than modern ones always stated the fact of afterlife and reincarnation too.
Matter cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be converted from one form to another. So how can we deny afterlife just because we cannot see it with our eyes!!

Several say they have images or signs from their loved ones. My husband died of suicide too. This is the worst death possible for anyone to face, it was their choice. I think it may be possible to have these things happen. Who knows. To those above there is no such thing as a coincidence, it is what God has done or Satan, not coincidence.==

I don't believe in the afterlife, but I don't deny it as a possibility, either. Personally, I believe the examples you mentioned fall more under the notion that if you want to believe something, you'll find plenty of "evidence" for it.

I believe the descent could come back as something else, and let their loved ones know that they're alright in some way. There's a reason for everything, regardless of what it is.

I believe things come back... But not in a good way.... If there's a spirit here, I think it's because something is so wrong with them that they're not accepting a way to Heaven, or even to Hell. *shiver*
I do, however, believe God sends messages to us for our loved ones.

I don't believe in reincarnation but I do believe there is something beyond this life. I believe we can let our loved ones know we still are around them in spirit. Not all the time but we do send them signs when they take our death really hard.

I believe, as you do, that loved ones are able to come back and leave us little messages. I've had many cases of it over the years. Until you experience it, you don't understand.

If coincidence gives you peace comfort then it is a good thing. I say go with it.
But never use it as an excuse to justify hurting other people, thats where believers go wrong.
