I have been with my boyfriend now for nearly a year and I love him to bits. We very nearly had a split on fri as he said he needed his space and freedom yet he still claims he loves me. I feel he gets loads of space as i am out working all day and he is out at night. I don't want to leave him as it would kill me to anyone any suggestions to how to make him change a bit, stay in a bit more with me or take me out and spend more time with me and is there a way I could make this happen without all the fighting and arguing about it which is really whats making us drift apart

dont try to change him. If you still love eachother, youll find a way to make it work.

The answer to your problem is that you don't have a relationship since you are never together. Stop saying stupid things like "it would kill me to leave him". It would not kill you, you might be a little upset for a while but you would get over it. Move on, if you have not even been together for a year and he already wants out, you are not going to make it work. Move on.

You are more into him, than he is into you. Men will say " oh but I love you" while they are walking away.. becasue they know they are selfish asses and have no good reason for walking away.. and they don't want to look like the bad guy.

you should take time out of both of your schedules to spend time with each other and see if you like it. if its uncomfortable and awkward. just end it but if its fun do it more often and make it random
