it does. it's the skin that gives them trouble. in my experience, the reaction seems to mimic an asthma attack. sometimes called a "reverse sneeze," this type of wheezing is indicative of a food allergy or intolerance. it's generally pretty mild and is over with shortly, so if your dog accidentally ingests some onion or scallion, don't panic.

Yes. But it will take quite a bit to make them sick. Onions are toxic to dogs, so try and keep them out of reach.

No onions in dog food. Feed them dog food and all problems are solved!

I feed my chihuahuas onions all the time. No problems.

It does , but if they got a few its not a reason to panic they may just get a stomach ache and be a bit "flu-ish" for a day or so. make sure they have plenty of fresh water and all should be well

yea they are in the same family.

why would you want to feed your dog onions anyways.
they have their own food to eat.

so maybe you should feed them that :).
because if they had the chance dogs would eat anything
