I'm female and recently had a pelvic x-ray. I'm supposed to discuss some tests with my doctor tomorrow (which has so far told me nothing), but I wanted to know what it could mean if i had a very tiny pea sized white spot appear on my x-ray to one side of my pelvis, sorta near and below the hip bone. I'm very concerned that it's showing ovarian cancer or something scary.

Sounds like a phlebolith, which is very common and nothing to worry about.

Since nobody has answered yet, I'll toss in my 2 cents.
I know it can be difficult to wait when you are anxious, but your doctor really is the best one to ask. Without being able to see it, we couldn't say if it's cancer, a tumor, a fingerprint (from improper handling), or even the result of someone sneezing.
Instead of worrying or panicking and reading into it too much, try relaxing or (better yet) distracting yourself so you don't think about it as much. Once you meet with your doctor tomorrow, they will be able to discuss with you what the spot may be, what tests they may need to run, and/or what treatment if any is needed. In whatever case this may be, I wish you the best of luck and hope everything goes much better than you expect.
