Not necessarily. A lot of guys can't control when they get an erection; especially if they are young.
It's not unusual for guys who are in their teens and early twenties to get erections for no apparent reason.
It is kind of creepy, but I wouldn't worry about it unless there was reason to believe he was trying to get the little girl to do that on purpose.
If it only happened one time, I don't think it's anything to worry about.
I would only be worried if:
1. You saw things like that happen over and over.
2. He seemed to have an unusual interest in children, trying to find opportunities to be alone with them, and things like that.
3. If he has any in his possession like magazines with pictures of children in suggestive poses or he has ever been looking at websites with that kind of stuff.
4. If he talks about children in a creepy, sexual way, like suggesting "that little girl is coming on to me" or something like that.
I work for a mental health agency that provides services for mentally retarded people. One time a grown man who was mentally retarded had a little girl sit in his lap and his family saw that he got a erection. They had him talk to a doctor. The doctor said he didn't think the guy was sexually interested in children, that it was just an involuntary erection. Nothing like that ever happened again.
If it did happen again, I would probably know, because we do have some clients who are pedophiles and have been arrested for molesting children.

I have a 6 year old daughter...
This question makes me sick... honestly.. if I happened to notice you pitching a tent when my daughter walked by I'd punch you in the penis... sick...
Ok, i'd like to edit my question after reading your other questions...
Because he gets an erection from a 6 year old girl is disturbing, however doesn't classify him as a pedophile. I remember in junior high when guys got erections over everything... however, as a man, he needs to control his urge, it's just disturbing. ... I am just defensive, I suppose, because I have a little girl...

If he recognizes he made this association in his mind, this could be the beginning of a problem.
If he is disturbed about this and keeps thinking about it, he has a problem.
If he think he may act on this association, he need professional help, NOW!
