Have an F150 Ford Diesal 2001, replc glowplugs, still cannot get it to start during cold or damp weather, Help...

Could be the ingecters.Or even just one of them. my Corvette was the the same way.So i replaced them and it ran like new.I know it's a diesal and the Vette are alot different,but my fathers moter home is a diesal pusher (rear engine) and he had problems with the ingectors.Plus in the cold buy a oil heater,it's going to replace the oil stick (dip stick) and in the morning remove warmer stick and put your other stick in,cause diesals are very hard to start in cold weather.

depending on the temperature you might have to heat the glow plugs more than once or plug the block in for a while usually 30 minutes to an hour before you try to start it

Buy an engine Block heater Or a can of starting fluid.Prefer block heater though

this motor is best to let your glow plugs warm up twice, when the light goes off the first time do it again....also plug it in...
if its less than 20degrees..

You need to plug it in, with a warmer......can't think of the name of them.

You tow it with a Chevy.
