ginger hair...?

I have ginger hair myself. well not ginger its mostly brown. But a lot of people talk to me about ginger people and tell me im lucky that im not a 'carrot head'. I don't get what everyones problem is with gingers. explain pleeease?!

I guess the people talking to you are not ginger themselves, right? They have to attack somebody else to make themselves feel superior. If it isn't race or religion, then it's hair color. Same old story.

i cannot stand people who hate gingers! i used to have ginger hair but i just couldnt hack all the names people said about it. i have now died my hair a dark brown and reli miss my old colour, but with the school im at having ginger hair just isnt possible with the pupils there. Anyway im thinkin of goin a darker red when i go college next year and start all over again. i guess its only normal right now to ask a question like this. i dont get why people say gingers are mingers. i hardly have seen any that are. at the end of the day ginger is just a colour of hair, not a sign asking everyone to bullie them!

I love Ginger hair its differnt. There are so so many people wilt black or brown or blonde hair. Ginger is bright n stands out and makes people differnt and more interesting to look at.

I dnt see y people suld ave a problem with it and people with ginger hair should be proud not to merge in with the rest of the crowd.

If you think about it, people pick on brunettes for being "boring" and blondes for being "dumb" - there are far more "blonde" jokes around than there are ginger ones. everyone is probably jealous because ginger is such a nice colour - i would love to have that colour hair and be confident to stand out in a crowd, just as I'm sure you are.

It's all to do with political correctness. You can't make jokes about anyones race or religion, You can't make jokes about anyones height or big feet etc. That only leaves the people with ginger hair (I love ginger hair by the way).

i have ginger hair myself and i have been bullied all my life about it....all the bullies put me off my hair colour and i started to dye my hair to cover it up.....but my nan told me to not let them get me down she taught me to love my hair and now i do....im so glad there are little ginger people it actually makes me feel special and makes me differnt.....the reason ppl dont like it is because they dont like differnt ppl same as y black ppl get bullied and fat ppl get bullied, if anyone is diffent to them they are "not normal" i no im normal and im happy more than i can say for some people......i just hope them ginger haters learn how much they hurt someone everytime they make a horrid coment on there hair colour....x

I have no idea. I work with a a young woman whose hair is 'ginger' and she looks amazing. She stands out in a crowd and when she wear black she is stunning. She is not classically beautiful or what I supposed would normally be called even good looking, but her hair make her so awesome to look at that men and women are always looking at her. I envy her. What makes it a harder pill to swallow is that she is a lovely woman to boot!!

its because ginger people are in the minority, people pick on them because they are the easiest people to do so. it sates right back, in the middle ages and later, they thought ginger people were witches and burned them at the stake.

If someone says anything, just say if they are brown or black haired or blonde, imy hair is quite unique, look how many people have your hair colour. I'm proud to be different and stand out.
