You say "Miércoles de ceniza".
Miércoles = Wednesday
ceniza = ash
I like the French translation of this also:
Mercredi des Cendres.
Mercredi = Wednesday
cendres= ashes
I find it interesting that "Ash" is singular in Spanish
but plural in French.
