The point of sex ed is more than just to convince teens and younger to not have sex. Too many times you see questions about pregnancy on Y!A like is it true that if the girl is on time she can't get pregnant? Or I just had unprotected sex, can I be pregnant? The point of sex ed is to teach you the facts about the reproductive system and to give you the facts about sex. You can be on the pill but that doesn't protect you from HIV or other STD's. And if you sleep with someone who's not a virgin, you're essentially sleeping with all of the people your partner's slept with and all of the people your partner's partners have slept with and so on. Sure the class may seem boring, but if you pay attention, you'll be more informed than your peers and you won't have stupid questions about sex, sexuality, pregnancy and disease that I'm afraid too many adults who've been sexually active for years don't know the answers to.

the government, your school, and most adults want you to make the right decision bout when you're ready for sex.
you can only reach the best decision for yourself when you've been informed of all the facts.
it may seem gross now, but being educated is a good thing.

the whole purpose of adults putting the class there is to try to cut down on teenage pregnancy's, whether they do that by convincing teens to not have sex or scare them into not having it, or teach them to use condoms,

Because there is an epidemic of kids 10-17 having sex, having kids, getting diseases, and getting emotional messed up for the rest of their lives - at least this way you may see it coming at ya!!!

Judging by your grasp on English, you need to stay in SCHOOL. It's better you learn this stuff now than to be on here three months from asking why you have an itchy rash on your nether regions and why your period is late.
