replacement fabric covering for graco infant car seat cheap? everywhere I have looked the replacement covering is the same price as buying a new car seat! thanks

It's best to get it from the manufacturer--that's what's safety tested. She'd be better off getting a new seat, anyway. It's always safer to buy a new one.

You need to go directly through Graco. You should never use anything that didn't come in the box with the seat or directly from the manufacturer for that particular seat. It can void your warranty and put a child's life at risk.

From my experience it was fairly cheap to buy it from the manufacturer. I think mine was 15 dollars and it was made for the car seat that I had (and it was a Graco).

You should never use a hand me down car seat. The plastic weakens with age, hot and cold exposure etc. I would feel horribly guilty if my sis were in an accident and the car seat I gave her failed....Just a thought....
