I just don't feel like being at work today. The day has just started and its already dragging. I am counting the hours until I can leave.

Does anyone else have this problem on Mondays and especially after holidays?

I did not have a very good Thanksgiving also. I went to visit my cousin in Los Angeles and she was busy with her work and different issues of her life.

I am not complaining. I just don't feel like working today. Maybe taking a walk at lunchtime will help.

I work in Finance at a contract job.

Monday's, especially after four wonderful days off for the holiday, are the PITS!
Glad to know I'm not the "only one"!!!!!

Aha Stareyes, its really Nice to see that you took a bit of time to yourself over the holiday. As for the I don't feel like being at work I constantly am feeling this today. Think its the time of year when we all wish we had More time to ourselves to do the holiday thing but reality always sits up and makes us aware that we are bound by responsibility IE: WORK. A walk sounds great can I join you?

Everyone has lazy days. I don't think it's a mental health issue. Now, if you're attempting to complain of lethargy, not wanting to participate in things you used to enjoy, etc... It could be some depression. However, this seems like you are just stressed from the holiday, and need another holiday to just chill out.

I think when you rest when you not suppose to then it's hard to get back to the routine...
