I'm an atheist and a secular humanist, and never have I felt attacked by christians on this board. They like to demonstrate their ignorance for the amusement of atheists, but that would hardly amount to an attack. It's like someone coming at you with an imaginary sword, they can't attack you with it, but they sure look funny trying.

material is their motive. If any attacking comes from Christian's its egoism. A single opposition is no threat when that philosophy closely matches there own. Saying that if you don't mess with me, I wont mess with you. But atheist see Christian's forcing a fairy tale that is suppose to bring would piece. But if atheist sees it as wrong how can the world be convinced?

Because Atheists "attack" Christianity and other religions here. I am not a Christian but it makes sense one groups says their view is flaw then in turn attempt to say the other is flawed that is how discussion works. Neither group is attacking the other.

Because they think atheism is rebelling against God and most of them probably haven't the foggiest idea what secular humanism is.
