Can you provide us with some example of people who do this?

I served in Iraq and my son will probably go there next year.

And we both support what we are doing there.

Ummm pretty much everyone I know that supports the war is in the military or is a family member of someone in the military. On the other hand I also know many who do not support the war but do support the troops and do not serve themselves.

I support the war on terror better it be fought over seas than here in our country, would I serve if I could yes but I am too old, although I have a son, daughter and son-in law serving as I type. I was brought up to believe that to serve in the military is a way of giving back to our country and passed that belief on to my children and grandchildren. Our son has been deployed 5 times, daughter 4 and son-in law 3 times. So you can put that in your pipe and smoke it.....God bless all our troops and their families....Also my family has fought in every war this country has been involved in since the Revalotionary war and we will continue to do so as what we have here in America is better than anywhere else I have ever been....

Depends how you look at it. I am in the Army. I will do whatever is needed (ethically) to support freedom. But I dont SUPPORT war. I dont know anyone that does want war. I'm out there trying to restore freedom to the Iraqi people.

Plenty of people support a war and do fight in them and have their children fight in them also. you are generalising and as you do it without evidence to support your absurd conclusion, you are a propagandist.

Anyhow...

No-one supports "all" wars, so you cannot have "people who support war". Generally people will support some wars and not others.

People who may not support a particular war can still support our troops.

And finally once your children are old enough to fight in a war its their choice not yours, therefore you cannot make, let, or stop your children when it comes to that choice.

Because only .6% of the population of the country is in the military at all.

300,000,000 people in this country, with a military of only about 2,000,000.

So its really a question of why do people generally not serve at all, no matter what side of the political spectrum they are on.

Been deployed 5 times myself since 1995.

There you go generalizing again, but I'll bite.

I support the war, but am not serving due to age and physical condition (eyes) however I did serve 1974-2000.

Hmm, so in your mind, the citizens who are enlisting everyday,

Do not support the war ?

Now that doesn't make much sense.

scared, don't want their children to die, not smart enough, can't see good out their eyes, it's alot of stuff why people don't join but they support war.but some don't, but still join. it's all how people think. some do and join.
