I think that it's not a matter of being turned gay or straight I think either way you are bi. You must have those feelings already there.
Some people just live in denial and stick to being hetrosexual so when they can't live that way no more and come out of the closet so to speak people asume they have been turned gay but in reality they always were.

being gay is not something people decide to do.here's a biology lesson.when an egg is fertilized,it starts to divide and multiply.our DNA determines our sex by adding an x chromosome or a y.x chromosome will make us male and y will be female.let's say 2 x's and 1 y and combined.male right.not necessarily.if at one point in the genetic makeup a female child can have male characteristics and visa versa.women can have male mentalities and the same for men.being gay is not a he or she thing,it's a life thing.one that some people have no control over and it gets harder to deal with when they feel they are some kind of freak.you can go to biology or science on the net and look up x and y chromosomes and the effects on gender and get more answers to the particular questions that you seek.

I don't believe people "learn" to be gay I think it is something genetic (the gayness gene?). There are some people who might try a gay encounter just to see what it's like, but unless it's something they enjoy, they aren't going to keep doing it. Many of the people who supposedly were "turned' gay were probably gay the whole time, they just didn't realise it at first.

Yes. I know this happens a lot to erotic dancers that start at the club straight but end up bi-sexual or gay since they see the lack of respect they receive from men. Also, divorced women who have had a bad time of it can become man-haters and turn gay since they probably get more sympathy from their own kind.

No. No one can be "turned" gay, they either are or they're not. Its possible that a person doesn't know they are gay until they meet someone special and then they figure it out, but this isn't the same as "turning". And they can't be unturned either like some people seem to think.

I don't know if people can be 'turned' gay or not. Personally I think that some just take a while to figure it out. I have some gay friends who have been in heterosexual relationships in the past.

There are so many different situations and the first thing that comes to mind is "no" they cannot be turned gay, but the guy who brought up the prison response is not only being funny, he is absolutely right. So when you say, "No, someone cannot be turned gay" you are trying to answer for ever situation ever with one blanket response. Life is rarely black and white

well i kno someone who is and well we had seen the signs since he was about 12 years old so i guess if someone is really gay then they would of had to of been grown up in the way my cousin did with the sighns like dancing to music like dance music ,dressing little girls up ,doing their hair making themselves look good all the time and wanting to go out and have a good time, dont care about anyone but themselves and their family and friends.so i dont think u just turn gay i think that everything happens for a reason and everyone is destend to be a certain way in their life.

Absolutely not. If a person is gay, that means they have always been gay. Just because it doesn't get brought to the surface until after they've dated women/men or have been married, it doesn't mean that anyone turned them gay. That is just ridiculous!

Not in a million years. And as impossible as it would be for a straight person to be "turned" gay, it is just as impossible for a gay person to be "turned" straight. Straight or gay is who we are, not a learned behavior that we can change at will. It is who God made us (if you believe in God).
Those who think that gays are just "living in sin" or "choosing" to be gay just to get a little kinky sex, those who bash gays and hate gays (including Christians who claim to "love" them but at the same time condemn them for who they are) would do well to remember that.
