U.S. promotes a political division of Jerusalem to accommodate demands of the Palestinian Authority, which seeks to base the capital of a future Palestinian Arab state in the city. The split of the Israeli capital is on the table at the Annapolis Middle East peace summit beginning Tuesday.

All nations and their leaders should heed the scripture in Joel 3:2 - "I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land."

President Bush has been counselled by many Christian leaders about what the scriptures say about the end times and how Jerusalem plays an important part in prophecy. My prayer for him and this nation is that he seriously reconsider taking a part in dividing Jerusalem. God bless you!!!

Our president appears to be under the delusion that he can bring peace to the middle east. He wants Israel to make concessions without Israel getting any from the pals. The president doesn't seem to understand that the PA is no better than Hamas.

Bush isnt doing any of his policies based on his religion. Hardly any politicians or political leaders do. He is doing what he feels is in the best interest of the US. It isnt like he created the israeli palestinian conflict. He is just trying to deal with it and with trying to figure out what position is in the best interest of the US. That is what any sitting president would do.

If one would look at FEM A's responses in 2007 in relation to meetings of our leaders concerning Israel. One would have much fear and trembling. Remember Katrina, when did we make them give up the Gaza strip?
Also, of note tomorrow marks 60 years, do the day, since what?

I think he's desperately trying to make a positive legacy for himself. He's pretty much guaranteed himself a sad paragraph in history books.
