Can someone be allergic to vitamins?

I've felt itchy all over for months, no rash, no bites, just itching. Can't figure it out. Thought it was laundry detergent, so re-washed everything. Didn't help. Could it be the vitamins I switched to a few months ago?

I switched to taking OneSource Women's vitamins. Any similar reactions?

It might indeed be vitamins, though the makers won't say so. But often the bonding agent used to form the pill can cause problems.

If you can, you might want to try getting your vitamins from nutritious food rather than pills. Often the labels are inaccurate to the point of being false about what they have in them, and some vitamins can be poisonous if taken in excess- which is about what many mega-vitamins do.

Good luck!

i was once taking vitamins, and i got this tosilitis,i ask my friend maybe it's because of the coating of the vitamins that reacted my tonsils.
Maybe on your part, the vitamins that you've been taking is not compatible to your body and the whole system...
maybe you better consult a doctor for more specific vitamins that is really compatible with your blood and your system...t.c.

It could also be the color dye used in the coating of the vitamin.
