For her class naming the class Teddy Bear Muhammad. Why is everyone so afraid of Christians "taking over" when in all reality we should be concerned with the influence that is slowly moving westward? What are your thoughts?

Dragon, I saw that. However, they have a bounty on the dutch cartoonist for characterizing Muhammed; why not be offended that a soft little teddy bear being an insult as well? It logically makes sense according to their beliefs. As for the government, because of hte theocracy involved, this still is a religious matter, regardless.

Sen: I think you have made yourself clear. You agree with Sharia law and how the people that institute it are validly interpreting hte Koran the correct way. Thank you for making that clear to me.
Those schoolchildren obviously love Mohammed and wanted to name their class bear after him because he is important in their life. Where does this Sharia law take into account the intent...yes, intent is very important; Did the teacher mean to have mohammed's nature desecrated? Im really disgusted by this, seriously.

Lemme see this.
Sheesh! Are these Mozzies sick, or what?
Here are a few more examples of Islamic "Justice" for you in the links given below.
Would you believe that an Arab girl who was a rape victim got 200 lashes ?
A Muslim mother recently killed her daughter who got pregnant from her brothers for "honor" which is quite common in Islamic Countries.
Two young gays were hung for being the bottoms there, while their partners didn't get that kind of punishment!?
These are only a very few of the kind of things that Muslims do.
Question is, do we want these barbarians living with us here?
Should we allow them to have their Mosques, which are a real nuisance here and bring their madness here?
Maybe not all of them are as crazy as this but, how do we know the difference?
I think we are running a very big risk because their numbers are growing alarmingly in our Countries and it's about time we got rid of these kinds here.
Peace.

That is a loaded question. Thanks for asking. I think America is being infultrated by eastern views and if we are not carefull we can have the same if not worse reprisals right here on American soil. For those that hate christians, christians are the most forgiving people on earth. They may be stubborn on their views of certain issues, but that is because they live with great faith in God, and may God do the judging in the end. Christians do not burn witches at the stake anymore, even though they do the direct work of satan(blindly as it may be in some cases). If the rapture came tomorrow, I wouldn't doubt that people repenting before God, realizing what had just happened, would be now burned at the stake. Those who repent after the rapture will have to die for what they believe or take the mark of the beast (most likely an IFD chip implanted in your wrist or forhead). The signs are all around us.Being politically correct, having a one world government, IFD chips being introduced to pets passports and prisoners, (soon IFD chips will be in everything you buy, from milk containers to cars). In my view, if we keep going in the direction we are going, the terrorrist have won. Is this country built on freedom or what? If we keep letting ourselves be more dependant on government than believeing in ourselves, we will turn into a nanny state that closely if not far outweighs comunism at it's worst. We need to turn away from the dependant state we have become and become the independant state that we built this country from. It is estamated this country would be completely energy sufficient (biofuel) if we grew hemp on %6 of the farm land. We need to also reduce nuclear dependantcies. I recomend more windmills and solar power for running our homes. The eastern blackout a few years ago proves that it nessessary for our survival of an attack to not be dependant on any one source of power. I really hope we can come together as a nation and realize these things before it's to late. Thanks for listening.

The woman has not been charged with anything. It said she COULD recieve up to 40 lashes not that she will< COULD big difference. She accused of blasphemy but has not been charged with anything at this point and most likely will not be. But how very typical to take a story and run with it with inaccuracies like they are fact nothing new there then.......
That is Sharia law. If she did not want to live by the laws of Sudan then she should not be living and working there should she? There are many Muslim countries that do not live with Sharia law, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia etc. Trust me Muslims are not interested in "taking over" but you governments sure have you sucked in to thinking we do. Maybe you should start thinking for yourself. Don't believe the hype!
EDIT
Don't put words in my mouth. I don't need you to clarify anything. I don't live in a country that has Sharia law but if i did and did not abide by those laws then tuff luck. You don't like that answer too bad. Don't tell me what i do and do not support you have no clue. You clearly will read whatever you like into my answer you have shown that. And i could care less what you are "disgusted" by why should i? You don't care what i am disgusted by.
And you know her "intent" how exactly? I'm not saying her intent was one of malice or hatred but i don't assume i know all the facts either. She has not yet been charged with anything that is a fact!

As I suspected, there is probably a political motive for persecuting this teacher. The government has a dispute with the school over taxes, and they arrested the teacher in order to put pressure on the school. Maybe they even want to close it down. The issue isn't really religious, that's just a trumped up excuse.

I notice that some would classify this as the problem with 'religion'. When it's Islam all the while even considering to beat people for things like this. If ever there was a time for people to be blind due to the persuasions of the devil, it would be now.
