Yes Kidney stones can come back over and over again. Try going to the webmd.com and reading up on Kidney stones they have some good information on them there. The link below is a page on the webmd site that should help.

It's probably not the same stone. You may have another stone. They can come just as fast as they go sometimes. It is terrible pain to have to go through, especially if you are prone to keep getting them ( I have had two in the past 3 months).
Visit your doctor to make sure it is not just a kidney infection.
Good Luck!!

They absolutely can come back. The surgery was to get rid of the ones that you already had.Unfortunately your body will still produce them if you have a tendency to get them. Have you had your stones analyzed? If they are made of Uric acid, there is nothing you can do, but if they are calcium, you can adjust your diet and hopefully prevent more stones. Either way, drink lots of water and lay off soda if you can, soda can increase the frequency of stones.

Yes, you can develop new kidney stones. Did your dr determine the cause of your stones? Give him/her a call. Make an appt with your dr to discuss the causes of the stones. If they don't determine what is causing them, they can continue to recur ... regardless of how many times you have them removed )-:

yes they can.
Kidney stones are painful but usually can be removed from the body without causing permanent damage. They tend to return, especially if the cause is not found and treated.

Are you sure they didn't just break up the stone, and now the pieces are moving through about to pass? I think it's probably the same stone.

Yes, they can come back. Most of the time they come back because of not paying attention of your diet after your surgery. Well, i suggest you to consult with a doctor as soon as you can otherwise, it becomes more serious.

Yes, your doctor will probably have the kidney removed. My mom is going through that now. Her doctor told her they will come back if she didn't have her kidney out. Good luck, it will hurt, but you will feel better soon, after you have the kidney removed.
