I am a Christian and at one point in my life I wondered if it were possible (as a Christian). I have since then learned much more about the Bible and realize it isn't true. Satan's first lie to humans was " you surely won't die". I had never understood that death means to cease to exist. (with all the paranormal stuff out there... some of which I have seen myself... it made me feel like our spirits continued on) I have learned since then that Satan wants to continue that lie and make people think he was telling the truth. His fellow fallen angels pretend to be those who were once alive (in the form of ghosts) to try to make God a liar. Once I understood this, I now know there is no reincarnation.

Since there are like 6 billion people in the world, there must a requirement of 6 billion different souls. When the population of the world was only like 100,000 people, what where all of the unused souls doing - just waiting around? Since reincarnation claims souls being reused - some of the souls around today are being used for the first time while others were used 10 times?
Is there a set number of human souls, or will even more souls have to be created as the human population increases?
Do we have to consider animal souls too? Are any people claiming to remember that they were an animal in a previous life? Again, if there are only a set number of souls, are humans in competition with the rest of animal life for the use of these souls? So many pure questions about this belief!

I belive that each soul is on a journey and has things to accomplish. We may be reincarnated untill that task is complete. As far as being reincarnated as an animal or other such thing, I seriously doubt it. Also I belive that the spirit of that life is left behind (like whenever you feel the presence of you late gramma or the like.).
As far as experiences go I have yet to do a past life regression. However, all my life I had this irrational fear of loosing my hubby/spouce/loved one suddenly and it seemed to be connected with cars (I've also have always been a bit jumpy when riding in a car). I had no reason to have this fear at all and it seemed to come from no where. After a while I began to realize that this fear may have come from something that happened in a past life . Once I recognized that, the fear seemed to leave. There is, ofcourse, no way to be for sure but it is what I belive to be true.

I have wondered and discussed the possibilities with my sister many times before. We love to speculate on the soul and this energy that powers our bodies and brains, whether it is one and the same, and whether there is a purpose to our BEING. Makes for a great campfire discussion, out under a massive canopy of stars.
NOW, THIS IS JUST A DREAM, OF COURSE...I used to have this dream very frequently - I would find the (apartment sized) attic in a huge old house and upon entering, I would be greeted by these twin children, a boy and a girl, about 8-10 years old. They introduce me to many, many people, maybe 70 or more, all of which are very familiar to me, like I've known them all their lives. There are usually pianos and pipe organs and all kinds of furniture there also, and there is always someone playing music. I ask how they know me and then I "understand" that these people, all different ages, sexes, nationalities(?) are me. They are all me from previous lives. The twins too. I spend what seems like many hours in the attic with "me" visiting, catching up, something like that. These dreams were never scary, never anything but loving and warm. But very weird, for sure. I haven't had an attic dream in quite a few years; maybe I'll have one tonight.

Personally, I feel that belief in reincarnation is just a silly device to keep people from fearing the inevitable. I'll be honest, I'm scared to die because I believe that once I do, I'm just going to lie in the ground and rot. I think that I find more beauty in life because I believe that I have one to live, and that it is now that I must make my impact on the earth because I won't have other chances with second, third, etc. lives.

I believe in we will all be resurrected. Although not everyone will be resurrected to eternal life in the same place: some will spend eternity with God, others in eternal retribution.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 (King James Version) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Revelation 20:5 (KJV) But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Hope I helped. God bless you.

Personally and Biblically one cannot Marry the resurrection & reincarnation. You either believe in one and not the other. You also CANNOT call yourself a Christian if you embrace the reincarnation concept. For instance Lazarus did not come back from the Dead as a Lizard or Butterfly...got it?.. Good.

In my personal religion, which I don't actually believe 99% of the time because it's just plain silly, we are the avatars of an infinite multiverse of gamers, so reincarnation is possible if you like the game enough to play again.

I do not believe in any form of reincarnation. I believe our souls are everlasting. We are created at a point in time and our soul will exist forever in eternity, either with the Christian God or without Him. We have one life on earth, and after that the judgment.

In the "experiences" department, I have a boatload to share. Far too many to detail here. Even so, I shall leave you with the one story.
My friend's son was terrified of shower heads from the very moment he could see them. In other words, from infancy. It was so bad in fact, that my friend had to cover the shower head with a towel otherwise her son would freak out and quite literally meltdown at the mere sight of one.
When the boy was old enough to be toilet trained, this became problematic if my friend was at another's home. Her son would wander into the bathroom, when needed, then freak out when he saw a shower head. Finally, when he was old enough to verbalize his fear, my friend questioned him about it. This "questioning" moment took place after yet another incident with him accidentally viewing a shower head.
My friend asked, while pointing to the shower head, "Why does that frighten you?"
Her son, who was not quite 3 yet, answered, "It kills babies."
This, along with other different incidents, were very strong indications that her son died in a Nazi death camp.
