This is not a logical statement. Saying that a lie is a falsehood is a definition. Stating that false things don't exist does not follow from that definition nor is does it define what a "false thing" is.

A falsehood is simply the absence ot the truth. The truth is the positive that actually exists. The negative of the truth cannot be a positive. Falsehood can only be a denial of the known positive. I would seem that a falsehood could be believable in the event the truth is unknown or unrecognized since the falsehood could be presented as an existing truth. Evil is always presented as a good (packaged in something that is already good). Hence, we have what is known as temptation.

you lie, it's false. False things don't exist, therefore your lie doesn't exist. It's as though you never lied.

False things do exist. Preachers who lie to you in order to get your money are false teachers, but there are bunches of them.

Someone told you this, probably in some "example" designed to convince you of God, and since you realized it is crazy-talk you wanted the rest of us to see how crazy it is too.
