I believe that McCrory had the better overall boxing skills and would have won a decision over Young. Young had good power but just wasn't as skilled a fighter as McCrory in my opinion.

I got this question . Bobby Joe Young was my stable mate in Stubenville Oh. in the late 70s. Bobby Joy would have knocked out Milton McCory but this fight would not have happen because Emanual Stewart would not have let Milton fight Bobby Joe because he saw what Bobby Joe did to Tommy Hearns at the Nationals in Hawaii two knock downs.
