Chicken breast is fine, but should be boiled to best eliminate the fat. No seasoning though, just plain chicken breast.

No you shouldn't believe. Chicken is really good for a dog to eat, its a lot healthier than the commercial dog food thats sitting on grocery store shelves, and safer too, because the owner actually knows what he/shes feeding the dog.
But, I recommend that an owner mixes a little bit of veggies in to the dogs diet because its not good to feed a dog just meat alone all its life. I suggest that the owner cuts up the dog's chicken breast into small diced up pieces, and mixes in some cooked rice with it. Other veggies like peas, mushrooms, and etc can be used instead of rice, but most dogs like the taste of rice better than most vegetables.
I feed my dogs a diet of raw meat, and my dogs are 100% healthy and happy, and I always include a little bit of veggies in their raw meat to make sure that they get all the nutrition that they need.
I should also mention that the bones be removed from the chicken before feeding it to a dog.

Chicken breast is very good. It is high in protein.

My dog had colitis when she was 7 months old. The vet recommended that I boil chicken breast, shred it and mix it with rice to control her loose bowels. She made a complete recovery from the colitis but didn't want to give up her chicken. She refused to eat her kibble unless there was chicken mixed with it, With the vets consent I now boil chicken breast, shred it and use the water as a broth. I mix a little chicken and broth with her kibble and she eats everything.

It is chicken carcasses and the bones in those that are bad for dogs, ours got really really bad stomach problems when she stole a pheasant carcass out of the bin a few years ago. Chicken breast is probably one of the best meats to give to a dog, unless your dog is a working dog then it must be thoroughly cooked, you should serve your dog mixer so that it gets some roughage.

As long as there are no bones, it's fine.

Chicken bones break up into sharp splinters and the dog may choke on them, but I have yet to see the dog who wouldn't go crazy for chicken breast..

Chicken breast (not lunchmeat) is very good for dogs. Most vets suggest a bland diet of chicken breast and rice if the dog is having digestive problems or not eating. You can definitely give your dog chicken. Never the bones, though; they can splinter.

Chicken is find for dogs RAW. Chicken cooked need to be boned out because the cooking causes the bone to be brittle and can splinter in their stomach and intestines. Raw chicken bones are rubbery and elastic and fine. I give my guys a raw, breast or thigh, once a week and they love it. It is a treat for them. I still don't trust the leg bone.

Alyssa is correct and, some dogs may have a bit of trouble digesting the dark meat since it is a bit richer. Our dogs love and are healthy eating white chicken breast, 99% fat free.

Boneless, skinless chicken breast, that is not fried, is good for your dog!!!!! I feed this to my dogs quite often!! One of their favorite meals is, boiled boneless, skinless chicken breast, that is cooked in canned chicken broth. I add baby carrots, and white rice! They love it, and it is good for them!! You can research foods that are good for dogs on the Internet! Good Luck to you!!
