Recently brought he voice recorder but realised the specification on the installation disk only go up to XP, i've tried contacted Olympus but talking to a blank wall would have been easier as i've tried everything they've suggested, but when instaling the software a messgage keeps appearing: The required line was not found in the INF. i havent a clue as to what it means and neither as it appears do Olympus. Any help will be great

but according to them it should be comptabile with vista

Olympus, knows all to well what the problem is.
It occurs everytime there is a new Operating System Software relese.
The reason is that all of the new drivers for periphials have not been developed yet for the new Operating System.'
This is why so many users report that there Printer worked fine in XP but they can't get it to work with Vista.
When Microsoft develops a New Operating System they choos not to colaborate with other hardware makers so that there products simply don't work until they update the drivers for there Printers, Scanners, Camera,s etc until they write the new drivers for there products.
In some cases this can take up to 6 months, before they catch up.
