I think that being a true Christian is someone who follows Jesus Christ and His teachings and has the Holy Spirit living within Him. Every Christian sins but robbing a bank would be very difficult for a saved person to do.

All true Christians got to be Christians by admitting that they had sinning and fallen short of the glory of God.

The Bible says that we claim we have not sinned we are lying.

However a real Christian has been cleansed from sin and would hardly ever do something like rob a bank.

However that's no guarrentee.

Just a word game bud.

If you define "true Christian"as someone who has never sinned, then yes, there are no true Christians. No need for discussion.

If you define "true Christian" in some other fashion, then you may have something to talk about.

Christians do sin, but if a true Christian knows God and has the desire to do what's right. It is possible for a real Christian to rob a bank, but usually people who cross such moral bondaries are not real Christians. If a real Christian robbed, he/she would most likely feel terribly guilty afterward.

Only Jesus was perfect, nowhere in the Bible does it say a Christian is going to be perfect, that was Jesus Christ, he was so perfect He was Crucified, His blood shed as a sacrificial Lamb, perfect in everyway. Sin separates us from God, by becoming a born again Christian and accepting Jesus Christ down in your heart, your sins are covered by the cleansing Blood of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast. If we believe in our hearts Jesus saves us by his pure mercy, and grace, there is nothing we can do to earn it. He holds the whole world in his hand, what more can we do, all he asks from us is to pick up our cross and follow him daily, Love thy neighbor as thyself, with Jesus in your heart you can give that a shot, without Jesus in your heart to give you that supernatural power you have no chance. When you get saved the Bible says the Holy Spirit comes and lives within you, this is what God sees in you and it is what makes you a child of God and allows you to Pray and be heard by the creator of the universe. Everyone sins, my sins are covered by the blood of Jesus, are yours? if not send me an email and I will tell you how to be saved or help you in anyway I can, seek and ye shall find, no matter what the world says, its the most important decision you will ever make.

Everyone sins no matter what, it's our nature! It won't go away. It's not possible for someone to NOT sin. Just because someone sins, it doesn't mean they aren't a Christian, maybe they're doing something that isn't necessarily God's will for them, but still-everyone sins no matter what.

Read this:

1 John 1:9-10 (New International Version)

9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.

We ARE still human. But when we DO sin, God will forgive us.

But being a Believer is NOT a liscence to sin, however.

But God IS always there to forgive us.

A christian always does the most good of what he/she can make of something. If we sin, but didn't know it was a sin yet, then we are ok. However, if we willingly know what we are doing when we are sinning.....bad sin

I know you're an athiest, but if you wanted to know my opinion as a christian, here yo go!

you can become a true Christian anytime. Leaving behind your sins and transgressions and putting your love and faith in the Lord. The Lord will always love you no matter what and is ready when you are, just don't wait to late.
