while I think every man has the urge to get with more than one woman...most men have some set of morals as do women. So I think somone just wants to feel better about doing something wrong when they say that.

A jealous cynical hypocritical woman.
Some men are, some aren't, but the same rule applies for women.

Hi. I seriously doubt that it was a jealous woman who said that. If it is a myth, I would guess that it was a man who was making excuses. The theory is that because people were supposed to populate the earth, man's nature is to spread his seed, right? It's true that men have a need for variety, you can't deny that. I don't think it's fair to label them as just naturaly screwed up though, or they will just keep living up to that expectation. Take care.

not all men are like that.I been monogamous for 20 years as I have values and loved my kids.I divorced the unfaithful whore of satan now but still when I play ,I play with one at a time.when I finish completely with an existing relationship, for whatever reason ,I then look for someone else.I believe that casual is very souless indeed, just my opinion.

as a man i can say that by nature we are faithful.but when our fellings are hurt over and over and we are played, made fun of and riduculed, our faithfulness shrinks to the point that now it takes a diverse woman to keep her man's interests.this is just my opion but for me i discuss my feelings about personal issues with my girlfriend.whether i want a freaky woman today or i want a woman to take control once in awhile.men are not dogs but if a man wants a good woman then he should tell her what kind of relationship he wants so the two of them can have the world in the palm of their hand(so to speak)

I think that it is a load of crap. I think that men are very capable of being monogamous and will be if they have character and moral backbone and upbringing just like anyone else who does. But look at society today. Everything goes. Women dress slutty, there is sex everywhere, on TV, magazines (not just the obvious ones) and all this does is promote unfaithfulness, and by this permissive nature, we encourage bad behavior not just in men but in women.

Saying that 3 billion people are all the same is rife with problems. Its like saying "all women are..." (fill in the blank) - its just as "dangerous".

However, most men would probably love to have more than one mate, although there are exceptions.

i think of it relies upon on the guy. everybody is a individual. we are, in recent times, services to losing interest--in spite of the fact that meaning in my books you like a sparkling bag of tricks, no longer a sparkling better half. i do no longer think of this is 'against' our nature to be monogamous. some human beings in basic terms won't be able to do it. I (confident i'm a girl) individually intend to be with in basic terms one individual (and subsequently a procedures my 'i've got slept with' record has in basic terms one individual on it) so i think of its a count of determination. i might opt to construct on something solid over the years somewhat than leaping around from man or woman to man or woman (and catching god knows what--to no longer point out dropping my emotional power). My better half (a guy) feels the comparable. people are too man or woman for blanket statements. As an afterthought---i like ****, and could check out individuals i come across captivating (so will my better half) in spite of the fact that there's a extensive distinction between checking somebody out and desirous to be with them.

Any good anthopologist or sociologist will tell you that. It is a biological imperative. Women are serially monogamous. If you don't want to look up the scientific evidence then look at the sociological evidence.
