seriously, u guys use an excuse thats its becuz women cheat, and yes some women do, but im talking about men cheating on their GOOD girlfriends. Girls, who treat them right. And also, dont use the *its in our nature* excuse ok? Whats the REAL reason why guys cheat, and im talking about on the GOOD girls?

They say most guys cheat because the intimacy in their relationship is gone and most women cheat because the emotional connection is gone. A man can be with a good woman, one who cleans and cooks and makes sure all the kid's lunches are fixed and dinner is on the table, but lays still and does nothing during sex. No one is perfect. And men connect to women through sex, and if they are missing that factor, they don't feel connected to their partner anymore so they go looking to fill that void.
I'm not saying that's an excuse to cheat because if a person is unhappy with some area in their relationship, the first thing the need to do is discuss the problem so both people can come up with a solution. But people try and avoid conflict and confrontation so they sneak behind the others back. If only couples could effectively communicate then I think cheating wouldn't be much of a factor.

I think a lot of men cheat because they are insecure, selfish and tend to think that they are smarter than women.
. Women are proud to be with one man we seem to have more respect for ourselves and other peoples feelings. Not all women though. For women our bragging right is how faithful we are and how well we take care of our men. For men the common bragging right seems to be how many women have been under their belt. Again not all men. But the men that know that they can't be faithful should stop deluding themselves and hurting other people and just not make a commitment they cannot keep. Unfortunately a lot of girls and women are drawn to the bad boy and what should you expect from a bad boy?
This is a good reason for women to stop looking at appearances and go for the geeks and average guys of this world.....they have been seriously underrated. These men are usually much more attentive to women. Wouldn't you rather compete with the newest games and technology than other women? These men usually appreciate their women because they are hardly ever even given a chance.
I used to be a bit superficial about men but I have been with a comp. tech. for a few years now and it is the most fulfilling relationship I have ever had. I got very tired of the bad boys and the guys that were always looking for something better. I want a man that knows I am the best for him!

I suppose, you are a "good one"?... well... I would guess they cheat because 1) they are tired of dating an irritating younger version of their mother, 2) they are tired of the goodie goodie act 3) they are tired of always being "wrong" 4) They think they can get away with it because the girl is niave 5) They cheat because the girl, although is a 'good one", is picking the @ssholes....and @ssholes cheat.... hence the deserving title of @sshole.
I can't help but notice you made a point of putting in "GOOD" women.... what about the "GOOD" men?..... there is as much a difference between the guys that there are with the girls.

because they can and sick as it sounds, some women find men more attractive when they are in a relationship with another woman because there is no allowance for future commitment.. so it is not always the guys fault, they get weak when their neck swells up and it cuts off the oxygen flow to their brain.. by all means I am not defending a cheater and Honestly, I don't why a guy would cheat on a good woman, It happened to me, twice, so now,, I fly solo.. go figure..

No?? No! Never generalize like that. Not even most men or women cheat. It may be "more acceptable" for men to cheat but that doesn't mean all of them do.

because we see signs that the last no good woman did and in order not to get hurt we make the first move to protect our selves plus some of us are straight up doggs and we need to sleep with as many women as we can for social status in a all male testoarone race look I'm say it's right but you wanted to know so the next time think about going to that other guy cause he's cuter or your horny after him, and you gots someone just think about what I've said before you hurt someone and they become doggs to someone else

I wonder sometimes if it's because they know they can get away with it, this is men and women, OR sometimes maybe they feel they don't deserve the good bf/gf so they cheat in order to make them upset and get out of the relationship, takes pressure off of them.

i really think that many people guys and girls included do not know what they really have....a guy would have a really good gf and because of prior experience with other women their expectations are low and they cheat....they really realise what they have when they lose it and they try their hardest to get it back.....
it is definately not a nature thing cause i know a few guys who are actually treating the gf's like queens and would never cheat on em because they appreciate them...
what i think is that society has put a brand on men and they way that they are supposed to act...even us women make comments like" he is a man he'll cheat no matter who you are". WE give them excuses to cheat..to make it worse we actually take em back when they do cheat...think about it how many men do you know took their gf back after they cheated? very few right....
we as women need to stand strong andnot accept it...

if a guy gets offered sex in most cases he is going to take it especially an imature guy. As guys mature they realise the importance of a good woman that can hold them down. That they can share things with. But youth guys and many girls also like to try out more partners and experiment with sex.

It was always the bad boys,with a history of the same.
If I don't feel a man is trustworthy now,I won't date him,period.
