Jesus supposedly commanded his followers to eat of his body and drink of his blood. Apparently, he doesn't have a problem with it.

Unless you believe in a physical resurrection I recon you'd be OK so long as the person's soul had left the body, and it wasn't you who had caused the person to die in the first. Otherwise it could be argued to be a waste of a resource (provided by God)
Killing the person just so that you could eat them, would be wrong by most religions. Maybe you could "swing it" if the person was about to die (perhaps this would extend to inter-tribal warfare where the loser, lost their land and therefore the means to feed themselves)

Cannibalism is the only way those people on that airplane survived. Remember? The soccer team from Uruguay that crashed in the Andes many years ago. I guess, under this circumstance, it was acceptable.

Jesus gave His flesh for the world ...but that's another thing.
You eat vegetables and meat and it becomes part of your body,
Christians feed on God and we become the Body of Christ.

Well, seeing that we were created in the image of God, and He cherishes each and every one of us, I would say cannibalism is wrong.

The bible is very specific in the old testament as to what you should and should not eat. I would suggest that you read up on the subject. It is a "less than intelligent question" in my opinion. Sorry.

Genesis 9:4-6
4But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
5And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.
6Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

in nature, nothing is ever wasted but when it comes to humans we are very wasteful creatures in this modern society..... seems to me we tipped the scale away from nature to a side of "politically correct" which makes little sense to me.
what is digestible in one society is taboo in another society..... so i really doubt that one group is right and one is wrong, just different.
I'm quite sure GOD loves all of us anyway..... critical evaluations are a human thing..... GOD has better things to do
