It was very cleaver of the writer's to work that into both the Bible and the New Testament and it is done so that you don't ask this question.
A: Do YOU want to be the guy that had to be proven to be incorrect in your doubt at a time when religious fervor was a virtue?
B: God now doesn't NEED to reveal himself again because it has already been done before and you now know the story which "proves" it.
So believe it or don't...no pressure though...your soul just hangs in the balance. One more way that fear and social pressure are used for conversion and control in religion.

As seth answered on this board jesus said TO Thomas
" Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."
~ John 20:29
Apparently, we are living in a time set forth by God where we have to rely upon faith. That does not mean that faith does not have evidence and the bible does not advocate BLIND faith. There is a difference from blind faith and biblical faith.
Hebrews 11:1-3 describes biblical faith as
"1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2This is what the ancients were commended for. 3By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible."
There is visible evidence to our faith it is really a matter of pure honest investigation. Lee Strobel was an atheistic Chicago journalist and has written several books about his investigation of the Christian faith from a skeptics viewpoint and what his final analysis was.

The Bible is the greatest proof of all time. It's been preserved for 1000's of years. Also, the Apostle Paul stated that miraculous dealings and tongues would be done away with because it was to establish the Christian Congregation and to get the Word out about Jehovah and once it was, proof would come by those obeying Jesus command to preach and teach the people.
In the first century, the miraculous gifts of the spirit, including the ability to “speak in tongues,” verified that God’s favor had shifted from the Jewish system of worship to the newly established Christian congregation. (Heb. 2:2-4) Since that objective was accomplished in the first century, is it necessary to prove the same thing again and again in our day?
In the first century, the ability to “speak in tongues” gave impetus to the international work of witnessing that Jesus had commissioned his followers to do. (Acts 1:8; 2:1-11; Matt. 28:19) Is that how those who “speak in tongues” use that ability today?
True Christians get the same "proof" by following what Jesus said: John 13:35: “By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.”
1 Cor. 13:1, 8: “If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels but do not have love, I have become a sounding piece of brass or a clashing cymbal. Love never fails. But whether there are gifts of prophesying, they will be done away with; whether there are tongues, they will cease.”
Jesus said that holy spirit would come upon his followers and that they would be witnesses of him to the most distant part of the earth. (Acts 1:8) He instructed them to “make disciples of people of all the nations.” (Matt. 28:19) He also foretold that ‘this good news of the kingdom would be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all nations.’ (Matt. 24:14)
Who today, both as a group and individually, are doing this work? In harmony with what Jesus said, should we not look for this as an evidence that a group has holy spirit?

There is no proof because you have to believe with faith. Take NFL for example. How does anyone know that the Patriots are going to win the Superbowl? Nobody knows for certain. People simply have faith that it is going to happen. How do you know that the Cowboys are going to the Superbowl and not the Packers? Nobody knows the answer for certain. It is based on faith. In the same way there is nobody that really knows who God is, what He is capable of, what He has done or is doing. These are things that we must believe with faith. A man or woman without faith is nobody at all. Faith is not limited to a deity. Faith is believing you'll get hired for a job. Faith is believing in your football team whether people believe you or not. As for me I choose to root for God. Think about it like this. If I'm right I get to go to Heaven. If not I will simply not exist. However if you choose not to believe if you're right you'll simply not exist. However, if you are wrong you will go to Hell. Do you want to take the chance in going to Heaven or Hell? If you choose to believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross for your sins so that you can live eternal life in Heaven and be with the Father in Heaven, then you will be welcomed into God's Kingdom will open arms. However, if you deny that Jesus performed this act of love, then if you are wrong you will spend eternity in a fiery pit called Hell. Which do you prefer to gamble with?

The reason for that is the denunciation of many coming antichrists, and false prophets, ie The many miracles of the many virgins, the many Shamans, the Vodoo and many other magic practitioners.
It is a very logic approach to think that after you do your work somebody is going to plagiarize it.
It remains then only in the faith and in the revelation of the artist to identify himself with those who have the catching eye looking into his works.

Because, like Moses and Thomas, you must be willing to ignore rational thinking, and known fact, and rely wholly on emotion and personal impression.

Thomas and Moses got their proof from almighty
god...One in spirit form and one in human form...Jesus was here for long enough for him to imprint on believers...we need no more proof...We have the Holy Spirit in us now...That is just as much proof as the early manifestations.

Now is not the time for God to show himself directly to everyone, that has come and gone, but he left lots of evidence for you to see, all you have to do is seek him with an open heart and you will find him, thats the hard part, having an open heart.

Ask and you will know God and ask for the door to be opened so that you can understand who God is and why he does what he does and how he does it. Ask God and you will receive in God's time and not your own time. Ask and then wait for God to come to you. Have Faith that he will be with you and he will. Thanks and God Bless you.
